Twenty nodes,
two branches, one parent.
Every corporate form AMF BWA works sits at a numbered node on the chart. Tier A is the holdings register — structures that own without managing. Tier B is the headquarters floor — offices that direct and administer. The line between them is the most important line on the chart.

Chart Note
The gold line and the teal line are not the same line.
Tier A nodes own; Tier B nodes direct. A bank holding company that begins to manage its subsidiary's day-to-day business crosses a regulatory line — just as a headquarters office that holds shares may need a different charter. Inquiries are triaged on exactly this question before any structure is recommended. Open a file and the parent's office will map your situation to the right node.
